ETHIOPIAN OPAL

Introduction

A fairly recent discovery, the Ethopian Opal is a variety of Opal occurring in a range of colours and patterns. One of the very rare stones, where you can find the hint of neon colours naturally occur, every stone is unique and a sight to behold.

Though new, the stone is becoming increasingly visible in the gem and jewellery market and awareness of it has increased by leaps and bounds. Known as a joy filled gemstone, it is predisposed to activate the wearer’s chakras. In history it is alleged, that the Ethopian Opal carries with itself a positive dragon energy which purifies and cleanses the whole surrounding aura. It hence helps with the cosmological journey of the one who adorns it. It is also said to improve communication skills. The hardness of the opal is located between 5.5 and 6.5 on the Mohs Hardness Scale.
